Eating Plan to Stop High Blood Pressure
 As a follow-up to a Rush Health blood pressure screening, a nurse health coach reviews risk factors for high blood pressure, problems from poorly treated blood pressure, and treatments for high blood pressure. The ranges for normal blood pressure, pre-hypertension and hypertension are explained. The benefits of weight loss, lower salt intake, less alcohol (if appropriate) and more physical activity are discussed. The DASH (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) eating plan is reviewed.
